ASSOCIATE DEVELOPMENT
Rasco Winter Thomas is a distinguished firm built on values we embrace sincerely. Our associates are among the most talented and motivated of their business school class. We expect and strive to see that every associate hired will mature professionally to full membership in the firm. To that end, each associate is assigned a member CPA as his or her mentor. The mentor monitors the associate’s practice and professional development. The associate receives periodic written critiques focusing on the associate’s strong points and areas for improvement. Concrete plans to remedy problems and achieve professional development are jointly agreed on and implemented by the mentor and associate. Associate isolation, stagnation, and the “sink or swim” mentality are not accepted as just “part of the practice” at Rasco Winter Thomas. Mentorship provides that person to be a sounding board that’s been in your position before and also has made it to the next level.
