Thomas G. May, CPA, is a Legacy Partner, continuing to serve clients of the firm with a variety of tax planning and compliance issues. Before beginning his career as a CPA Tom was a U.S. Air Force officer, retiring in the rank of Major in 1994, having served as a C-130 navigator. Shortly after retiring from the Air Force he was hired by Rasco Burris & Winter, one of the predecessors to Rasco Winter Thomas.
Tom began his career as a staff accountant, with various promotions that culminated in becoming a partner concentrating primarily on tax planning and compliance for individuals, estates and trusts, businesses, and not-for profits. He enjoys mentoring staff and senior accountants of the firm, providing them with valuable advice for not only their careers, but also in ways to better serve our clients.
Tom married his wife, Becca, in 1993, and they have resided in North Little Rock ever since. Becca retired from a 31-year public school teaching career in 2013. They have one son, Jordan, a graduate of Hendrix College and DePaul University School of Law, who is currently a practicing attorney in Chicago.
