Ron Meyers, CPA, is a Principal Partner with over 40 years’ experience in public accounting and serves as the firms’ Head of Accounting, Auditing Standards and Quality Control. Ron is an active peer reviewer for other accounting firms and currently serves on the Alabama Partners in Peer Review Committee which promotes quality in the accounting and auditing services provided by CPA firms. Peer reviews ensure that CPA firms are performing to a high standard and offer firms opportunities to improve the quality of their services and processes. Ron also regularly assists the Arkansas State Board of Public Accountancy through its Quality Review Program and has previously served on the board of directors of the Arkansas Society of CPAs.
Ron serves clients in various industries, including construction, insurance, manufacturing, distribution, non-profit and employee benefit plans. He also serves individual, trust and estate clients with tax planning and preparation.
Ron was born and raised in Fort Smith and graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1981. He and his wife of 31 years reside in Little Rock and attend Christ the King Catholic Church. Ron currently serves as the chairman of the board of directors of Good Shepherd Ecumenical Retirement Center, Inc., a non-profit organization that provides quality, affordable living to seniors in the Central Arkansas Area. He has previously served on the boards of Christopher Homes of Arkansas, Inc., the Catholic Diocese of Arkansas Finance Council, the American Heart Association of Western Arkansas and others.
In his free time, Ron enjoys traveling and woodworking, but as a newly minted grandparent his greatest joy is time with his grandson, Baker. Ron and his wife Marsha can be found regularly visiting Northwest Arkansas where their son Nick, and his bride, Katie reside.
